What Threat Protection does
When you browse the internet or apps load content, your device may connect to multiple domains behind the scenes. Threat Protection checks these requests in real time and blocks unsafe connections instantly.

How it works
All internet activity starts with a DNS lookup — your device asking where a website or service is hosted. When connected to Webwise, these requests are handled by secure, encrypted DNS servers.
If a requested domain appears in trusted threat-intelligence databases, Webwise blocks it automatically so the harmful content never reaches your device.
Modes
- Threat Protection OFF — No filtering. All websites and resources are allowed.
- Threat Protection ON — Blocks known phishing domains, malware hosts, scam sites, ads, and trackers.
